I was just about to get ready for bed this morning at about 1 pm so that I can go to work tonight, and Jennfer goes in to the bathroom and a minute later is telling me that the toilet's oveflowing. Turns out that both toilets are overflowing and backing up into the bathtub and the shower. so I've got to wait up for the plumber, who can't be here ( Read more... )

Did the plumbing get fixed?

yeah, the guy came out and snaked the lines and pulled copious amounts of tree root out of the exit line in the back yard. They're coming out again on thursday to run a camera down the line to see just how bad it is, but the toilets are flushing again. And he even got there at about 3, so I was able to get about 5 hours of sleep, so it wasn't a big deal that I had to work. It's just the principle of the thing. But I'm over it now. Plumbing is fixed and I'm just keeping my head down til I can get my teaching cert. Now that Jen's working f/t, we should start saving a little faster.
