I suppose I have a few favorites. The first one is the computer I'm typing on...we broke down and got Josh a brand new laptop for his birthday...he will be paying for part of it. A fairly decent computer with an i5 processor, back up operating system on thumb drive, virus protection, Office suite, new mouse, protection plan...much much dollars. ( Read more... )

But but but! I LOVE THAT PIC! And the side ponytail rocks!

When I race Jimi I put in a side braid (the judges get judgy and unhappy if they can't see your back number). It's a low braid, though, since it we have to either wear hats or helmets.

Yay for new computers! It sounds divine! I'm a touch typist too, but I still like the backlit keyboard - my work PC has one.

My home PC is still hanging on. The drive died last year, so I rebuilt one with OEM and it's still going (the perks of purchasing a PC with enough guts to get you from one operating system to the next).

So it sounds like you made a really good purchase.

For some reason, the side braid is very "country" to me. Goes perfectly with the cowboy hat and horse. To me, anyway.

Okay, so I went and looked up a summary of The Alienist and, honestly, you had me at boy prostitutes.

Though if they had formulated this show specifically to suit MY tastes, it'd be, like, ONLY boy prostitutes and beautiful cinematography. And Fanning could stay, too. But no murders and no detectiving -- just happy hooker times and Gilded Age shenanigans. Like Newsies, except not.

GASP. 'Floozies'!!

Anyway --

Side ponies forever! And you've got it backwards, btw. Straight hair is ALL WRONG for a great side ponytail. The fluffier the better! Or CRIMPED, even, because YES.

You have an excellent face, and I enjoy looking at it. :)

I think one of the things that has intrigued me most about this show is the boy prostitutes who dress like girls. I have never EVER heard of such a thing. And while I do not know everything - and never well - I know a lot about a few things, and I never heard of this.

Oh, crimped hair. I wish.
