I totally understand the situation. IN my socioloigy i'd say 50 % of the students are out of state or out of country and i feel like i have an advantage growing up minority but most importantly in diverse southern california. I have come across some students that just like your teacher are against generalizations and yet IN the same sentence commit what they preach against. OUt of ignorance i say. hey, i have a similar class!!

Social change and asian americans (cmmu80H). We talked about asians been classified as the model minority, and how a lot of interpretations of people are based on race (we talked about this in my Lit103 class). I guess you professor hasn't realized that white is a race too (something that i had some trouble with too). You should come here and take contemporary american lit with lewis chude-sokei.

Very informative, it is.

I think that I will do the MUD RUN!!!!!
