I can understand the frustration that Iowans must feel, even as they get a lot of media attention this time of year. An enthusiastic tribe of 100,000 conservative caucus goers are not a representative sample of the state.
The whole thing is nuts, and yet we, the voters, allow it. I don't understand why we have years of campaigning. A month discussing the issues honesty and clearly would suffice. The money involved in campaigning could instead be used wisely and kindly, instead of with anger, lies, and deceit.

"Iowa, Iowa, That's where the tall corn grows."
I have Emilia's artwork here with me at the computer, and I am appreciating just one of her many gifts. Thank you!

"We the people" could demand it, and we don't.

I'm kind of disappointed he didn't mention this school (http://www.mum.edu/index.html) which is the most surprising thing about modern Iowa to me.
