Last week, I was talking to one of my favorite Baristas at Green Bean and I mentioned that I hadn't had an official girlfriend since high school (about to hit 7 years now).  She immediately replied consolingly, to which I responded, "Hey, it's not like i haven't had the opportunity -- that was all intentional!"  No, I wasn't trying to pick her up

Hey Zech! I haven't talked to you in forever, but I wanted to see how you're doing. I'm living in Phoenix, AZ now and on my way to becoming a music therapist! :-D I miss hanging out with you and the Cajuns! That was an awesome year at C-stone when we met...I'll never forget dancing together and winning the dance contest at Flatfoot 56. :-p

hey Janna! that sounds awesome, i know it's what you always wanted to do. I'm looking at going back to C-Stone this year but it'll depend on finances and when drill happens for me. I'm teaching middle school social studies and the last nine weeks starts tomorrow! We'll see soon how it all turns out!

That's cool that you're a teacher! How's that going so far? Do the kids like you?

I don't think I'll be going to C-stone (alas), because I'm going to see Nightwish in May in Las Vegas, probably visiting my friends back in Indiana in either May or July, and going to a Star Trek convention in Las Vegas in August, so that's a lot of time off already that I'm asking.

Teaching is...interesting. It's the toughest trial God has ever put me through (look back through my LJ for a few of my rants on it) but He already promised He'll get me through it, and He's faithful to do what He promised!
