So my next excursion to Northville/Plymouth wasn't quite as fun as the last, but it was still pretty good. I returned to the Elephant Bar on Friday night and danced with a few girls. None of my other friends would though, damn tards. Still I spent some time with them and we talked about all sorts of stuff. Matt Rogers from St. Clair Shores came ( Read more... )

This is way random, but where do you play disc golf???
I was in Tennessee last month and it is really big there, but I do not know of anywhere here that we can go.

There are 2 disc golf courses in Lansing area, both on the west side. One is in Grand Woods Park, which is on Willow and Waverly, the other is in Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge. How was the course in Tennessee? I have family down there but they don't really live near any courses. Have you ever played?

It was my first experience with disc golf while I was down there. I had a blast, I was not too good, but it was fun none the less. They play all of the time because they have two courses in State Parks right by their house. I wouldn't know if the course was good because that was the only one I had been to, but there sure were a lot of trees!!!
I am going back in June and I was hoping to find a place so that I could brush up on my disc golf skills before I go back.

Well Grand Woods is a good place to practice. However there are usually lots of people playing there, since it is one of the only courses in town. I was out there on Saturday and played a few holes. You should go there some time. Discs can be bought at "In Flight" and "Blue in the Face" for under $10. And you really only need one to start out. I suggest the "Discraft Stratus X."
