School and Work!

Its hard to balance school and work. My father decided I was ready to take on the business so he started me off as an Assistant Branch Manager for our shop in Tokyo. Its hard especially with 47 employees who are at least twice older than I am, 18 from neighbor business partners, 3-story building, and me being a 19 year old girl with no experience ( Read more... )

first of all, thats great that you have the position of a manager in your DAD's company... but i see your point that you want to start at the bottom!!! i hate ass kissers my self and i am definetly not one of them!
you know what??? my and john are applying for the same college up state new york, we want to be chefs and hopefully after getting our degrees we want to come to japan and work here... i want to cause i love japan and this is the only place that i will surivive living in, i don't like nyc any more!!!!!!!! its too noisy and dirty and people are nuts!!! EMI, your english is awesome!!!! great job, i hear lots of good things about you and few minor, just minor problems with you... anyways, would you like to go to an israeli resturant this saturday? with john my g/f and of course my self! let me know.... ( john actually wants to take me to your house this sat)

I know my English is good. But I can't speak the language that well... I hate John for learning how to speak the language in less than three months when it took me 2 1/2 years to become fluent enough. Father said I have to know English for business purposes.
What are these "minor" problems? Tell me. Actually, tell John and I'll have him call me.
