QUESTION!

I've been wondering this but is there a certain way girlfriends should act? Besides the obvious: be there for them when they need it.

That's really...vague.

I wanna say, "be sweet." I love doing sweet, mushy stuff. And Josh loves receiving it. I doodle colorful, smelly good (I use scented markers!) pictures/notes, occasionally I bake things for him, stuff like that.

Are you thinking of something more specific?

no, I was just uncertain of my role.
I mean is there a difference between being their best friend and their girlfriend?

It's very much like being their best friend, yeah. With a very important difference. ^.^

I'm not sure?

My girlfriend acts exactly the same before we went out (we were best friends before hand) except the difference is the "I love yous," and the affections (kiss, hugs, etc). But in terms of how one should act, I don't see any difference since she's still my best friend (but with extra benefits, yay).
