I hate it when life throws curve balls at you! I like it when there's a little bit of perceived obviousness to a situation so that it's relatively easy to pick a direction in which to move, not the ones where you're grappling and pretty much any choice could seem like the "wrong" one...

Whatever you do and whatever ends up happening, I wish you the best! I would find out, though, before making any get-back-together decisions, his position on your break-up and why he's changed his mind, and make your decision based on how satisfactory you think his answer is.
