it's hard to describe my thanksgiving break... being in NYC for the holiday was pretty damn cool, and we did so many amazing things. it felt so nice to see my family's faces after going three months without seeing them at all. my definition of home has really changed a lot over the past year- i think i understand now that home is the place where ( Read more... )

I don't think that anyone is ever where they need to be.
Houses are never really finished. Something always needs to be done.
I don't think anyone ever leaves this world complete. . . .
It's nice to think that people do, but if you did, what type of person would you really be?
I think you always have something to learn and because of that you are never complete.
Everyone truly is a work in progress.

Ok, so I don't know if that even made sense to me, but I'd like to think that you know what I'm getting at.
Anyway, I'm glad your break was fulfilling. :)

i think you expressed it really well, julia. we all need to keep growing, changing, learning, evolving. and i am always amazed and impressed with the shifts my angel makes every day. i anxiously await the changes to come - i just hope i can keep up with her! and, i just want to add that i look forward to meeting all of the wonderful people rachel has in her life at hofstra. the unconditional and loving support you all give her - well, its phenomenal. and i know that she returns it in kind.
