1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Many things. One thing specifically would be actually standing up against my dad.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I think my New Years resolution was to work hard and develop further into who I want to be... I think I'm getting there. Next year? Work harder, be who I want to be, enjoy myself and read more!
3. Did someone close to you give birth?
Umm... Ricky's brother's wife? That's about as close as it gets probably.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No one close to me really, but the death that affected me the most this year was Dimebags... That hit pretty hard.
5. What countries did you visit?
No where new, but I'm probably going to Singapore early next year...
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
More money. more happiness about where I am, more trust in people.
7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Emily's birthday party, Emily coming to Perth, Cradle Mountain.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Having one of the stronest, most stable, ongoing and argument or conflict free relationship out of almost anyone I know? (bar one or two couples... You know who you are! ;))
9. What was your biggest failure?
Falling into bad habits, being unsure of myself.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I'm currently suffering god damn knee injuries again. I had an operation for an iguenal hernia, which sucked.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
CoF shirt (my first metal shirt!)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Hew and Damien's. We've strengthened so fucking much as a trio of friends again. PIB is definately officially back, if only in spirit!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled?
A few people I know (some very well) who have become everything they hate - and they don't even realise.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Emily! Expensive girlfriends are great! ;)
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Our drama show was fucking great, really excited about that. Also our practical exam (funnily enough!). Cradle mountain! Em coming to Perth.

i. happier or hardened? Hardened. Its been an interesting year!
ii. thinner or fatter? The same, though not as fit... I've been off training for such a long time, because of illness/injury.
iii. richer or poorer? The same (poor).

Studying, reading, writing, dreaming, deciding.

Worrying, hurting myself.

Picnic on the property, dinner at Tom's!

Was in love for the whole of 2004!

Nope, had a girlfriend all the way through 2004!

TV sucks large donkey balls.

Let's replace hate with - disgust. One particular person.

All of the stuff we have read for Philosophy! It's all been freaking good!

CoF! Also, actually defining my tastes and finding my own little place in metal!

Love and companionship.

My faith in certain people to be proven.

Two Brothers (it was so beautiful!)

Had a party! I turned 16.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not having to keep on rebuilding friendships with people time and time again. A friendship isn't something that should collapse every three months.

More variety, definately leaning away from the mainstream, more alternative.

My friends, Emily, Zephyr.

*boos and hisses at celebrities* Denise Richards if I had to chose one though.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
Stop pretending to be someone your not, liking things you don't like, or doing things because you are too afraid to do something different. Live life how it should be lived - to the fullest and with as much honesty as you can.
