In an effort to get myself back on track with this journal writing business and at the suggestion of dizzydog I've decided to join the therealljidol for it's seventh season. And in so doing I'm seemingly obligated to do an introductory post

How did you learn to write songs? I wish I could do it.
Is there a website or anything you can recommend to teach me?

For me it just came naturally. I've always loved to write and I've been playing instruments since I was ten. It seemed only natural to put them together at some point =)
