I've decided to try something new. I'm making my default new entries public instead of friends-only. We will shortly see how much I regret this. Probably a lot.

Is there actually any benefit to this? I know many of you keep your journals public.

I think I ate a black ant once, and I remember not tasting anything either.

I haven't been to a zoo in years; I'm glad that you had a nice time at the National Zoo.

I've had my journal friends-locked for a while - except for a fairly new 'friends-only' post - and I just feel better with it staying as such.

I keep mine f-locked because my school (back when I was 16/17) went through my entries, printed some off and gave them to the shitty school counselor. :| It's been locked ever since.

I've been giving a "public blog" a lot of thought lately. I think it's a great idea, so long as you're comfortable with it. :)

I don't want to have to do a whole separate blog, so I guess the thought behind it is that some things are not really that big of a deal and I wouldn't mind them being public, but I could still keep most stuff FO...
