I can understand how an experience like the one you had with OASE would bring cynicism, but I feel like you are being overly harsh on yourself. The game was very well made, had a ridiculous amount of art that was quite well done, and simply wasn't appreciated by the mainstream. We've seen countless works of art that failed to become popular, but was greatly appreciated by the few who realized its merits
