Maybe it will be a good excuse to visit, 'cause I haven't seen you guys in, like, forever...

You know, people are going to make vague noises about which ones they might or might not want, and then you're going to end up keeping them ready for a mythical day when someone's going to come round and look through every single one, in the hope that after a few people have done this the pile will be smaller.

But this will never happen. People won't come round, and even if they did, they've got hundreds of these of their own at home already - they'd take seven, maybe eight. In a month's time you'll have just as many cards still, and the vague feeling that you now cannot get rid of them because they're "promised" - you'll no longer be storing your unwanted cards but other people's uncollected cards. And then you'll have to fight against the "can't dump other people's stuff" programming.
