For the moment, i am not going to post my opinions on this matter. Too much to say, too little time. Suprisingly, i am not as Anti-it as you might expect (regardless of what my current away message says). I would like to know what all of you think of the Gay-Straight Alliance

there is nothing in the constitution that separates church and state. read it. all it says is that there will not be an official established religion, which means that no religion can be forced on anyone, or repressed. and currently christianity is being repressed.

once you realize that we are not discrimintaing against gays, you'll see that this is an argument over the definition of marriage. i am all for civil unions for gays' i just dont want to change my definitions on something just cause it offends people.

sodomy is illegal. why? because it is against human nature, not just the bible. we are made to reproduce according to science, so why then are there these people who want to eliminate that? i'll tell you exactly why, because it's a choice. just like it's a choice to kill someone, or to steal something. and since those come with the penalty of jail, so should this.

Ok- I have friends who are gay. i have relitives who are gay. But i am a Christian and I do believe homosexuality is a sin. I have never said anything about how GSA should not be allowed, signed a petiton, or anything of the kind. ACTUALLY i spoke out among my friends about how GSA does have a right to be formed.. yet i was THREATENED by several supportors of GSA for stating my opinion (my opinion -"Homosexuality is a sin. but so is judging those who sin. I have sinned. You have sinned. So were all equal. I have no more right to school time for a club then homosexuals. Let them have thier club.") If GSA is promoting tolenernce- then promote it. Dont threaten those who dont believe as you do. thats not tolerence. So if the "Tolerence Club" people cant start practicing what they are supposed to be preaching- I dont see how they are supposed to change the minds of others.
