I know Chris will do a fine job as president, I just don't like how he got it.

and Chris is a big time poli-sci major, and knows a lot about politics in general, so I think he's his own Karl Rove.

Sounds like he did what he had to do. If he could scheme his way to making this happen, maybe he can scheme his way to making good things happen too. He seems to have a talent for that which could prove useful. It seems like he did it for selfish reasons now, but wait and see - maybe he'll make the best of it.
