Dear Summergen Writer

Dear spn-summergen Writer,

You may have looked at my journal and thought, "The heck? This tells me absolutely nothing useful!" I apologize.

So, what can I tell you about what I like to read?

Well, in the case of Supernatural, I am definitely more "good" character oriented, and I am a Dean girl. It's not that I dislike Sam--I just like Dean more. That having been said, I would read something focused on other characters as well.

I have a relatively low angst tolerance. That doesn't mean I only read happy, schmoopy, or cracktastic things, but I very much prefer a happy ending, or an ambiguous one at worst. I can deal with some drama, depression, hurt/comfort, etc. as long as I know I have a resolution to look forward to eventually.

My only major no-no is character death, unless it is only temporary. I have a long, sad history of favorite characters that die, are evil, turn evil, or are/turn evil and then die. It's upsetting! I get attached, you see.

I love a good case fic just as much as simple character interaction. My favorite thing to write is dialogue, so I enjoy witty banter, but it is not an absolute necessity.

If you'd like to see some short examples of my own Supernatural related writing, if you think it might help, you can check the "comment fic" tag on my journal or my author tag at spn-bigpretzel.

Thanks very much for writing a piece for me; I'm sure it will be fantastic!

Happy writing,
zelda_addict

summergen, dear writer
