Gossip Stone Expedition: Lake Hylia and the waterfall

[One of the best things about living in Kakariko Village is having useful and pleasant neighbors. Shad has recently had some conversations with the female Sheikah, the one Sheiky refers to as 'Spirit.' He's told her of the strange stones he has seen in different places around this Hyrule, the large gray boulders carved with the Sheikah emblem of the weeping eye, and she explained to him that these are called the Gossip Stones. There is an artifact which will enable a person to extract information from these boulders. Where such a thing may be found, or even what precisely it is, she does not know.

Well, Shad once explored his own Hyrule in search of owl statues, so now he decides it's time to explore this one in search of Gossip Stones. It is his intention to map out the location of all of the stones, so that if and when the artifact Spirit mentioned is found, he will know exactly where to go to get this information from the stones. According to Spirit, the legends of her people say that there are twenty-four to be found, and that they are in every conceivable part of this world.

He is striking out on his own. He can travel light enough, being just one person, and he reasons he can augment his supplies in Castle Town when he needs it; he may even visit Telma for a night or two while he's in that part of the realm. He's already noted the stone outside the Shadow Temple, in Kakariko Graveyard, and he knows there are at least two on Death Mountain, but he probably will not head up that way until he comes back. And so, with a farewell to his housemates, he sets off down the stairs into Hyrule Field, heading toward Lake Hylia.]

(ooc: This is me creating a little plot for myself. Shad's going to have a series of posts, maybe one a week, which plop him into different regions of Hyrule in his quest to pinpoint the locations of all the Gossip Stones. Feel free to intercept him, harass him, befriend him, question him, even offer to accompany him for a while. I don't know what to expect out of this, and maybe it will come to nothing, but I thought it was worth a try. It's time Shad got to see the rest of the kingdom.)
