ZeldaQueen: When we last left off, Shannon and her centaur husband, ClanFintan, got hitched in their year-long handfast, with no witnesses and pretty much nothing to indicate that this was the uber-important event it was built up to be.

I apologize if any of that sentence caused anyone headaches.

Say... wasn't there a Twilight Zone episode featuring something like that? And the guy got bored of it quick and found out that he was in "the other place"? Wouldn't it be funny if that was the huge twist and the real reason why Rhiannon wanted out?

Heh, that would make perfect sense. Actually, given what happens to Rhiannon in her backstory and how EVERYONE in this world apparently hated her besides her father, one could easily argue why she'd want to book it. In fact, given how every single person, from Rhiannon's own handmaiden to all the servants, to EPONA HERSELF seem to agree that Rhiannon's a complete and utter bitch but Shannon's so frigging WONDERFUL and they want her around and we never even MEET Rhiannon, the plot could very easily have been that this is a horrible dystopia and Rhiannon was a perfectly fine person who chose to run and Shannon's too bone-stupid to question things.

(Of course, this being PC Cast, we sadly know it's none of these things. Rhiannon's the Evil Person and this world is Perfect and Shannon is Wonderful. God.)
