Well, one thing you could TRY (no guarantees) is to not date someone until you've known them for over a month. Get to know that person AND their friends. and if you find anything about them unsatisfactory, well, you've made a new friend! everyone wins! anyways, if u aren't worried about being/seeming obsessive, you could always ask around and find out what you can about any given person. do a little "background-czech" so to speak. if u ever need info, I can usually find someone who knows the person/has dirt on them. I'm usually here for help, if not, I'm never too hard to find!
