I find that the people who lash out such as "R" did...attempt to diffuse there self hatred,lack of self esteem by projecting true feelings about themselves on to others that make them feel inferior.
Only someone who is truly disturbed about their own life chooses to spend time attempting to knock someone like Sara off her pedestal to what make themselves feel better... yes, it takes away them looking at themselves...where they are at and where they are going in life.
