*Liz voice* Wah. =P I'm not wasting my pretty. ("my pretty" being every good quality I have -- not simply physical appearance) I want someone who'll fight for it. ^_^ I'm tired of letting him in, and him being mad because I let him in so easily. But when I play hard to get he's too darn lazy to try. O'well. Lazy butt. XP We'll see how life goes. ( Read more... )

A lot of times a nice guy sees this great girl and thinks: WOW! That girl is amazing! She's beautiful, fun to be around,sweet........the list could go on and on.

And so he fights to gain the favor of the princess. The longer the princess tests the guy, the more he wonders if she really thinks that he is worthy of her. Finally if the princess has him fight too long he feels that he will never reach the level of her satisfaction. In the end he gives up and trys to move on.

He may not be lazy. He may just feel like he's not good enough.

Granted Katie you are going to want to have a high standard for the guy you are going to marry (don't make it too high for him to reach), but when a man is fighting for the affection of a lady,(if you really like him and think he would be a good candidate for a husband) let him feel that you appreciate him and let him know you think that he is a great guy. He will then be more likely to keep fighting.

I do -- or did, rather. Very much so, did I let him know he was appreciated and he was a great guy >.< But he never really did fight for me. Just kinda shrugged it off and tugged me along. But that's okay, I'll get past him. ^_^ Thanks for the advice, though. I'll keep it in mind.
