You Got Game?
...'cause i got game. I just had my first tennis match today. My first real match. yeah, it was pretty fabulous.
...Despite the fact that I lost. :( But I had SO MUCH FUN with it!! This match was also my opponent's first match, too, so she and I were right in the same boat. We had some awesome volleys, too! I picked up some great shots as well. i need to work on my serve a LOT. I mean, I know I'm not Echizen, but still... I know I have the power and potential to have a killer serve. I just need to learn how to control it and harness that power.
anyway, the final score: 6-2, 6-3. oh well. it was so much fun, and Gina was just as cool about it as I was. Very good sportsmanship from the both of us, i must say.
Also, Andrew and Hilaree came and watched me. I asked them to, and they did. it made me very happy. ^_^
I have to schedule my next match to be played before the 27th of this month. for that match, my goal is to win a set. I may just have to hit the court by myself a few nights or something to practice serving.
