The Emotional Dream Live 3rd was Emotional
no, seriously. i just finished up watching the third Dream Live concert, one of the more emotional ones mainly because it's the graduation of the second Seigaku cast, my favorite cast so far. (I mentioned this last entry, too.)
It was a really good concert, too. A little shorter than the previous two, though, about which I was sad. During the last official song of the concert, Shirota surprised all when he couldn't finish a line because he started crying so much. He was the first to break down, I do believe, and once he did, everyone else started to as well. This concert had a lot of love, power and care to it. You can really tell that every single cast member genuinely loved their role.
Now for more about the concert and what happened. So initially everyone starts off int heir regular uniforms, as per usual. There are two costume changes: one for street clothes, and then a second--this time only for Seigaku--into tuxedos. Atobe wore--this is SO Atobe--leather pants. HELLS YES. I lol'd because it is SO Atobe! Tezuka and Atobe bicker a little bit about how each other's fashion sense isn't what it should be, and then Tezuka proposes a non-tennis-related challenge: impressions! Oh, hilarity ensued, mostly due to Tezuka's and Echizen's impression of foreign salesman commercial that are, apparently, on late at night in Japan. ROFLMAO.
All in all, a very good concert. TWO encores! One was the graduating cast saying their final farewells, which included 'Run, Run, Run' as an ending song, and then a second encore with that same song. It was good times... I shall miss this cast, and i hope that TeniMyu will be well taken care of, just as Yanagi-kun wished Aiba to do.
As Tezuka would say, and as Shirota Yuu delivered so well every time, "Iku ze! Yudan sezu ni ikou!!"
