Day 01 - Your favorite Song

The first song that came to mind was “White Winter Hymnal” which has been my favorite song since September when I heard it for the first time. And it was the first song in years to blow me away. I had never heard that White Winter song... I just bought it off iTunes. Good stuff that. :) And oddly addictive... I have listened to it something like 10 times in a row.

I mustn't have been pushing it hard enough. I thought you'd be sick of it by now because I've blogged about it a million times and have been a little obsessive because the guy who did the video stop motion went on to work with Wes Anderson on Fantastic Mr. Fox and the band is Fleet Foxes. And it was all so thrilling I almost died! Well maybe not died. But something like that. I even made art inspired by it. So I'm shocked I never actually sat down with you and made you listen to it.

Yeah because it's so short I tend to listen to it a few times in a row. It reminds me faintly of the Beach Boys... to me it was shockingly lovely. Very cool song and my favorite at the moment.
