Day 29 - Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days
Sometimes it’s just a matter of survival. I hope to be a better artist, a better person, find a job, survive my sister’s wedding, and what maybe find the meaning of life? Sigh… I don’t love making plans for the next year. I want to get better at skiing, have a ski weekend or two, do some more yoga and maybe get back to improv. I want my life and those of my friends and family to be easier.
I had a dream last night about ghosts. I had a dream about being at my grandfather’s house and if was filled with ghosts. His yard was filled with ghosts, and my cousins and I were dealing with the ghosts. We keeps flashing from being our current age to being kids. Mike was living at Granpa’s. There was an issue with his TV and the cable company was going to fix it. But grandpa doesn’t have cable. It was all surreal and strange. I don’t know the significance of it. At one point it I stood facing a ghost and reached out to touch it, Joan looked at me strangely and asked if I could fight them... What I was doing wasn’t fighting them it was more disturbing them so they would leave. You had to face them unafraid. I flashed to being a kid and standing in the same position and doing the same thing.
My grandfather is 94, I don’t love dreaming about ghosts with him. But it makes sense I’ve been scanning in all of our old family photos. Sigh.
One more day of the 30 day meme! Hurray!
