wow, you guys really do belong at mit... that's about all i can say about that pizza comment.

i just moved into my dorm. it's weird (still hasn't hit me that i don't leave until the end of october), but my roommate is cool. she's from new jersey and LOVES harry potter and lotr. and she likes anime a tiny bit too. we're oddly similar... and not just in the ways i've mentioned.

my orientation begins in about 15 min, so i need to figure out where to go! i want my college experience to be just as awesome as yours seems to be.

there's a girl here who has literally CRATES AND CRATES of anime. I'm not kidding. She was living in my room temporarily before I was. and I walked into my room and went "HOLY SHIT THAT'S A LOT OF ANIME." now she lives under me and she is teh awesome.

and here's something really nerdy -- everyone in this dorm is referred to not by their real name, but by their username for the MIT network. My username is my name, but for example, there is a guy named Tim whose username is Tabbott, and everyone calls him Tabbott. it is insanely nerdy but so much fun.

Oh, and some other nerdy stuff -- this dorm has servers so you can check which bathrooms and laundry machines are in use.

well, for all your nerdy stuff, our student body president mentioned in his speech to our class that some people may breathe through a bong more than they breathe through their nose. i found that rather funny. ah, yes, college.
