One day weekend

It's not working Saturdays that I mind so much, but only having one day before going right back to work. So much stuff I "should" be doing right now. Laundry. Dishes. Cooking. Vacuuming. Mowing the lawn. I'm going to sit here and read a book. Plan on putting in another 50 hours next week. I don't have to, but we need the money too much. There are

I had a yen to re-read "Kushiel's Chosen" this weekend.

It's funny, I was reading Jim Butcher's old livejournal entries about writing and structure and his post about The Big Middle struck me. Now that I've seen it I can't unsee and I notice it everywhere. It doesn't hurt that T.C has watched The Incredibles twice this week.

Is that the Jaqueline Carey series? I just finished up reading her Naamah's series. Good stuff.

Yep. It's book two in the first trilogy. I tend to skip it but I was in the mood to read it again.
