I know it's all irrelevant and everything, but there are/were a lot of people in that Superdome, how do you suppose the daughter managed to find her?

And what possible use could sex be to those men at a time like this? It won't feed them or keep them dry or shelter them. All it will get them, if there is a god, is a nice bullet in the head or back/chest and/or a criminal record, plus a lovely little reckoning when they get to hell. *loves on the snipers* May they be ultimately successful.

It's too bad about those ponies though, you wouldn't think they'd die so quickly of just starvation. o_O You don't suppose people could be killing them off so they can eat them and the guy just thinks it's starvation?

I like that old woman, the first one, fighting until the end. Drowning seems to be a relatively quick and painless, though I'm sure uncomfortable, way to die so with any luck she didn't suffer much.

No... I heard drowning was one of the more agonizing ways to die... and not fast at all.

It'd have to be fast, shouldn't take more than a few minutes for your lungs to fill with water after you can no longer hold your breath and only a few more minutes after that before everything shuts down from lack of oxygen. Although I'm sure it seems like an eternity to anyone going through it, but doesn't it always? I'm almost positive I'd rather take a quick drowning over a long, drawn-out bleeding to death from internal wounds, and I doubt starvation is much of a picnic either.

Drowning has been said to be the worst, most agonizing way to die.

And...

I think you missed the point.

Hm, I know that feeling. Kill off all the bad people and fix up all the nice ones.

"Armed bands of young men. Through the flooded streets, they make their way from roof to roof, raping female survivors."

WHA~~? This is entirely a fabrication. Where the hell did you hear this? Not only has every "rape rumor" (the Astrodome rape, the sports arena rape, the St. Tammany rape) been proven false, there's not even anything to really back them on:

"We don't have any substantiated rapes," New Orleans Police superintendent Edwin Compass said yesterday, according to the Guardian. "We will investigate if the individuals come forward." The British paper further pointed out that, "While many claim they happened, no witnesses, survivors or survivors' relatives have come forward. Nor has the source for the story of the murdered babies, or indeed their bodies, been found. And while the floor of the convention centre toilets were indeed covered in excrement, the Guardian found no corpses."Are people being raped in New Orleans? Unfortunately, almost definitely yes. But "armed bands of young men who make their way from roof to roof ( ... )

C-N-FUCKING-N, biyatch. I'm not fabricating anything, and I wouldn't repeat it if it didn't come from a reputable source.

The only place anything like this is mentioned on CNN is during a single account by evacuee Raymond Cooper, who is later specifically mentioned in articles as having fabricated most of what is in his accounts.

I didn't say you were fabricating anything, I said you were repeating fabricated information. Which is true.
