according to Sharon:

The Lovely Bones? That wasn't even a good book.

(and I wonder why it's on there; it's popular reading material. They may as well have put the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants or Shopaholic series)

I thought the Lovely Bones was very well written, though the subject matter is difficult to say the least. Although it was written recently, I would hesitate to call it popular reading. Anyone who picks it up hoping for a thriller or romance with lots of fake emotion and a pithy happy ending is in for a surprise.

Read 1984, it is a good book, but A Brave New World is a better representation as to what has been happening.

I've always felt guilty about not having read 1984, since it's the year I was born. Since its been a number of years since I read Animal Farm, I think my Orwell meter may be low enough to pick it up.

You should definitely read The Master and Margarita because it's quite easily in my top 10 books of all time.

And I'll see you tomorrow!
