I wanted another way to keep in touch with the new circle of friends I had begun to build within the larping community.

Black made into a tasteful even eligant color, rather than the arn't I gothy style most larpers adopt.

Your versatility as a role player. I didn't get a chance to see it until the 7th Sea game but holy crap is it ever impressive.

The one that sticks out at the moment is when Ragner had Julian on trial, it was a really intense RP experience and not nessicarily fun at the time, but looking back it was a really cool end to that characters story arc.

What first got you into gaming?

Well, back when I was in junior high, it was the big rumor that D&D was somehow evil, satanic, or even resulted in suicide. So I never thought it would be for me. However, now that it was no longer cool to play with toys, and I needed a new creative outlet. I took a look at the D&D Basic set in a Ben Franklin (they used to stock it), and was sold on it. It was clearly a lot of details and rules, had nothing to do with satanism, or suicide, and looked fun.

It started as a way to keep in touch with all of my Knox friends over the long winter break. Obviously its become somewhat more than that since.

Sitting around at the larp in CF the night we were in the church basement. The back and forth between our characters was awesome.

In the beginning...Oh, God, I sound like I'm starting the Bible here. LOL. When I was in sixth grade, my oldest brother was doing his Freshman Year at Minnesota State University Morehead. When he came home for Christmas break, he brought AD&D with him and convinced me and my other two brothers to play. I still remember playing that game and thinking how much fun it was. Over the next year and a half, we'd continue to play D&D. We eventually got introduced to things like GURPS and WOD and it just went from there.
As for LARP, I kept hearing about the Omaha game from my friend Amy back home, and I'd also hear about the games here from Cookie. I finally decided to start playing back in February and have never regretted it.
