tonight, my dad's brother and his girlfriend were hosting a dinner at her house.  my parents assured me that i didn't have to go (honestly, i just think that they didn't want to deal with stupid family members regarding me), but i decided that my fears ddeserved a big old fuck you and chose to go anyway.

i cannot stand his voice. he makes me want to throw things. i don't know if he sings that way all the time, but if he does i don't ever want to hear another Jonathan Richman song.

seriously, i don't know if it was just that song, or what. i mean, i tolerated Radiohead long enough, and if anyone whines it's Thom Yorke. despite my above impassioned claim, i'll have to listen to more Jonathan Richman before i make a solid judgment. still, my verdict on "The Origin of Love" stands: it's one of my favorite songs and i hate his version of it.

ha, i don't blame you for traveling two hours to go to the Waffle. the thought has crossed my mind in the past, about going to the one near Columbus (it's about two hours away from me, too). now that there's one closer, i can put that thought to rest.

i like IHOPs, as long as they aren't located in Severance Plaza. I also like Cold Stone once in awhile.

but i am uber-excited about Waffle House! i am so going out there before i go back to Clevo.
