i really do it. :) these bugs shed their exoskeletons in august. usually i'll paint them in all different designs and put them in boxes and give them to friends. some people are disguisted by them and don't want to have them - it's funny. i just decided to play with the one i had left.

this august/september i am planning to make shapes out of them and put them in shadowboxes.

Gabby brought a huge cicada shell in to me and told me it was a baby Ohmu shell from Nausicaa. Was so proud!
