I can't believe myself, but my heart actually went all a pitter patter when Kate and Sawyer got it on. Which just goes to show what a Sawyer slut I am, because he really is hot with anyone, in my eyes. I'm just happy to watch him disrobe, the fall of his shirt from around his shoulders, slipping down his back, his hands reaching to remove the shirt ( Read more... )

But back to the Sawyer/Kateness, yes, hawt, yes shirtlessness. But Sawyer asking if she really meant it when she said he loved her? How totally fucking out of character was that? That was such a girly line. And then to say "I love you too"?!? More girly line shit.

But the sucker sentimental nonlogical part of me actually liked it, oh, where have my principles gone?

Nice to see you again!

Funny thing is that Damon and Cuse wrote this episode so I guess they're fangirls, deep down. Now, if they could liberate their inner slasher where Jack and Sawyer are involved ...

Thanks you, dahling! Nice to see you seeing me!

Gawd, can only imagine if it was Jack in cage #2, climbing out, setting Sawyer free, staying with him when he wouldn't run... A girl can dream... Cuz I have to, right?

LOL Same here. But Josh also delivered that line with just a touch of dryness and hesitation, so it didn't ring as completely false and unlikely. I'm glad Kate didn't answer, because that would have been just this side of Lifetime tv.

No one, no one, can wear a tanktop like that man.

Damn true. There's been far too little of him so far. Hopefully they'll rectify that when the show returns. And I agree about the bullshit quality of the hiatus. The entire "reruns" complaint is a rather ridiculous one, since practically every series (barring the abnormal ones like 24 that run for half a year) staggers reruns with new episodes. If the writers cared enough to listen to viewers' complaints and thereby change the way the season runs, then why don't they listen when we all complain about characters being killed off?
