we don't like it when our trusted person has to leave, switch departments, go on vacation, etc... ad nauseum.
because i deal with the VA, i can get screwed on a regular basis with my doc's and therapists... they get burnt-out or transfered just as i get to know them, usually.
Remember everything good about her and the things she taught you, and then keep an open mind for the next poor sucker.
