I just emailed somebody with awesome free junk on craigslist.. they said I could pick through it now even though it's midnight, dare I?!
anyway.
I woke up in a pile of dirty clothes after reading library zines all night, it was SUNNY!!!1, emmie and I went to this free food porch on 33rd & hawthorne and got hella apples, tofu, black sheep bakery stuff... sooo rad! It's all leftovers from tuesday fnb, which i missed, arrrrgh.
Emmie left and I just kinda dicked around and watched people on hawthorne for an hour until my art class(didn't have time to go back home), which was sadly the last one ever. But it was great, we all got work done that will be in an exhibition at one of the PCC campuses... I didn't make anything spectacular, or even good, but it'll be cool.
here is the intensely lovely part: after class my teacher always drives me to the bus stop, she's really fucking cool and likes me a lot, she's like this awesome 60 year old who's really into graffiti and new styles of art and shit, she used to live in NYC and go to parson's and she was a graphic designer for a bunch of fancy magazines, tells hilarious stories and gives good advice.
she took me out for vietnamese food! tofu spring rolls and a huge amazing stir fry vermicelli noodle peanut sauce thing with AMPLE leftovers, soooo good. we talked the whole time, life and work and money and art and stuff, she's going to put in a good word for me at this adorable cafe on alberta a friend of hers runs... i'm so excited! I've been working on my ~resume~ all night, surely it's not that official but I wanna make a good impression. I might go apply tomorrow morning.
here is what I want for the summer:
I want to wake up in a BED, not a sleeping bag, sun shining brightly, stretch and dance around and go tend to the garden and my chickens, bike to work at the adorable cafe in my adorable vintage dress and apron, bake mini pies, sling coffee, make pleasant conversation & work hard for the money all morning, make friends and have art hanging there and have a lover of loving love who pops in to surprise me every so often, go to more shows, have wonderful friends visit, go to girls rock camp, finish the zine, visit washington and california, sew more, sell crafts, learn to make music, have picnics, climb trees, take photos, lovelovelovelove. i cannot wait to adopt a midwestern waitress gal persona! ALSO, SUN, HI WHERE U AT
http://www.flickr.com/photos/moshimoshigallery/3258968356/i unknowingly snuck into a picture at an art opening last month!
i just redyed my hair, as a result the sink is full of mystical pink soup.
