I did some of my own due diligence, so I decided to ask the videographers:
I have to ask, didn't you find a single coherent tea party attendee that could explain themselves properly? There had to be at least one, no?

The woman at 3:10 who worked in healthcare was the most reasonable person we talked to. But even she was clearly caught up in the anti-govt. rhetoric being propagated by Glenn Beck and Co.
This isn't to say there wasn't anyone reasonable there; surely there would have been. But we didn't find any of them; the overwhelming majority were vastly uninformed.
