He screwed over his best friend and a teammate that I love - as a player. My love stays mostly on the ice, where it belongs. It cracks me up the way that someone who doesn't even know me and hasn't seen the post can accuse me of making something personal when it wasn't. It's like my opinion of things doesn't count at all because "GASP! I'm not showering my undying love and affection on VINCENT LECAVALIER!"

I've not been crazy about him for a long while now. This whole mess, the one HE created, made it a lot worse. I should be allowed to express that in my own journal without someone taking it the wrong way and thinking I was attacking her.

If you want to paint me as the bad guy here, go right ahead. I'm no stranger to that. I'm just asking you to consider both sides of the situation rather than automatically siding with the one who complains about having her heart ripped out by a vile, evil bitch who never said anything to attack her in the first place.

it is personal when that player means so much to someone, they become almost like family and nothing gives you the right to judge that or tear it down. Sometimes you have to keep your opinions to yourself to spare peoples feelings and if you can't do that your not a very good person.
