With the volcanic ash still grounding air traffic, of one thing I can be thankful: that I did not stubbornly choose to fly to Edinburgh for the forthcoming Student Nationals this weekend. While there is no guarantee that air traffic will still be grounded come Friday, I'm really thankful not to have the stress of cancelled tickets, potentially lost
