Same thing happened to me last month; I was told that almost every employee who's come into our office has had to get corrective vision if they didn't have it already.
I wear my glasses for work and driving, mostly. I didn't think I would use them as much as I do now, but it's amazing what a difference they make with certain things, namely far-away text. I started to actually kind of want to wear them in certain circumstances because everything was so much clearer.
I know exactly what you mean, but everything i see is pretty clear, the only problem is my eyes get tired faster. I guess scholarly look is smarter look. ;)
Same with me. I have very bad vision and might need glasses soon. (Which I DO NOT want) Realized a few months ago that the computer causes bad eyesight. >_< Contacts freak me out. I wonder how much laser eye surgery is. . .
I massively started using the computer at about the age of 10, by 16 I needed glasses cause I couldn't see the blackboard at school. *cries*And I had 20/20 vision. My dream of flying a jet plane is over.
