Hi Terri.

This is as good a place as any to let you know that I've removed MSN from this machine... There were password problems, and I decided that it was a security risk.

Do drop in at http://pseudoivan.wordpress.com/ sometime. It's nice over there.

The guy is a total waste of skin, I've always said so. Forget the bag, not worth it, just move on.

Hey - got the phone yet?

The phone arrived yesterday, safe & sound, thank you. The only problem is, the connexion here in France uses a massively different plug system (So much for European Unity huh?) so the plug will have to be changed, or *maybe* it's possible to find some sort of adapter to connect one to the other. The little doobry on the end would fit a UK socket, France has gigantic pronged thing ( ... )

Many apologies for the 'waste of skin' comment being upsetting to you - it was meant to be ironic. But I shan't use it again and will use your 'waste of space' one instead, okay?

Yeah, you can probably get an adaptor for the phone plug-in thingy at your local telephone company or perhaps even at an electrical shop. In fact, they could probably change the plug-in thingy for you at an electrical shop without too much cost and bother, I reckon. I didn't think that the plugs might be different in France. A friend of mine brought over a phone from New York awhile ago that works fine here, plug-wise. Go figure.

Well, sorry it didn't work out. I know it's a good phone - costs about 50€ here and has lots of nice features on it. So if you just detach the connection cord and take it around to either the telephone company or an electrical shop you will hopefully find a way to get the connection thing working for you. Good luck.

Gosh, I'm so behind on your life! You always seem to be having so much of it.

Just out of curiosity, as I see there's quite some people coming your place - have you had any hosting requests from Hospitality Club as well?

Yes, Rianne, the Dutch lady is via Hospitality Club! I'm just panicking 'cos she arrives July 3rd (ish) & i don't get paid till the 6th, so things are incredibly tight financially. I hope to gawd she eats curry; i can conjure up a curry out of almost nothing, but anything more sophisticated is ummm...well, shall we just say difficult; "impossible" is a word i try & avoid using!

All these blogs; very difficult to keep track, what a pain we seem to be scattered between various sites, what an even more pain that hootoo seems to be changing in character so much that the "old guard" are deserting in droves.

I've got my first solo Guide Entry on front page, but can't really work up masses of enthusiasm to go shouting it from the rooftops. Sad.
