I feel ya, some poeple at work are trying to train me on the espresso machine thingy to make coffee drinks. I conveniently only remember how to make iced mochas cause they are easy and I like to drink them.

kinda a cross between fastfood and a diner, more of a diner except for friday and saturday nights when they get insanely busy from the bar crowd next door and across the street, so then they precook the burgers and stuff.

As the term has come to be used in the United States since approximately 1985, a latte is prepared to the proportions of one third espresso and two-thirds steamed milk. Thus it has more milk than a cappuccino, and has a milder, milkier taste. Lattes should be prepared by pouring milk and coffee simultaneously, from either side of the drinking vessel.

I think it's used like this:

"I was gonna [don't fuck with me on this one, I am an English major and can use 'gonna' in a sentence if I damn well please] drink some coffee, but I was running latte for work."

So, does that make sense to you now, user of the magic?

Also, I'd be down for cali or Japan. But yeah, jeremy could defend our honor...

i don't know what a latte is either.
i'm always curious to order it, but it just seems too mysterious to risk it.
maybe starbucks will teach you and then you can teach everyone on livejournal. spread the word.

My girlfriend told me it's 1/3rd expresso and 2/3rd milk.
