Assuming control, goosebumps, and three-way Thursdays

I *assumed control* of the new house today. I had a carpet guy go over this morning while I was at work to stretch/clean the carpet on the second floor. After I left work I went over and saw that the carpet looked great, except for the complete lack of stretching and repair in *my* bedroom. (Begin psyching up for an arguement with a contractor.)
