actually, the reason i decided to be amish was that i read about how when amish kids turn 16, their parents lift all restrictions on them, and they can drink and smoke and fool around as much as they want to until they're 20 or 21, and then they can either choose a life of faith or go out into the world.

so i'm trying to sow my wild Amish oats without the strict 0-16 years.

I like the fact that Amish males around the same age get the opportunity to "soup-up" their buggies. They often add such amenities as radios, and racing stripes. It's fun to know that even in the Amish community, boys will be boys!!!
