Would you recommend this series though? I watched Blood+ and, while I enjoyed it, I had the same sort of feeling about frayed ends and random things happening for no real reason :/

I think I'll have to watch it to the end before I can make a judgement on whether it's worth watching or not. ^^' There are definitely better series out there, but it's possible that the remaining episodes of Blood-C can make up for the stupidly slow start. XD

You know, the crossover referencing was fun at first... now it's just... lost its appeal. You can only do it so often before it's lost its effect :/

Yeah... It's becoming like a CLAMP "in-joke" of sorts. Only the really nerdy CLAMP fans might hold true appreciation for it. The rest of us kind of shrug it off. ^^'
