Penguindrum episodes 21-24
So behind on watching anime. XD I touched nothing while I was away for just over a month.
I just finished watching the last few episodes of Penguindrum, and I have to say, I found the ending a little underwhelming with its ambiguity. 'Wait, no more explanations? That's it? ._.! ' But I still greatly enjoyed the series, overall.

I just watched a trailer for the new Rurouni Kenshin anime. I have to say, I don't really like the new animation style. I'm not really sure how to describe what exactly makes me have a slight dislike, but some of the characters just look too..... Immortals, the movie
Some short comments, after watching a free screening last night, courtesy of h_jing_wen.
- The only good things going for it are the slow-mo, blood going everywhere, bodies getting smashed action sequences, general action choreography and the shiny graphics.

Madoka Film Trilogy Announced
For those who watched Madoka Magica, a film trilogy has been announced. The first two films will be a retelling/recap (not confirmed which it will actually be atm) and the third film will have completely new material.
Exciting, but at the same time, I hope it doesn't go the way of most 'cash cow' projects. ^^'' -

Kimi ni Todoke is so good
I kept procrastinating on watching this series (I think I've watched the first episode twice and never followed it up.), but I finally got around to watching more of it, and it's just sooo sweet. I should have watched it earlier!! I knew it would be a series that I would like, but just didn't get around to watching it.

I love this series. It can really throw you for loops; it's hard to predict a number of things at times; I really love how information is dropped very casually, sometimes 'on the sly', and how there's a very strong 'mythological' aspect to ( Read more... ) -
Blood-C, ep whatever I was up to, until 12
So, things started ramping up in the last few episodes of the series. It was getting more Blood like. (Though admittedly, most of it was hyper violence. I don't think I really want to watch the unedited version. It's just so gory.... ) It was getting more interesting.
