ospreys fuck too

Though I live in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, I still see Osprey's, a type of sea eagle, nesting near my home.  They love the protective cliffs of the New River Gorge and the easy catches of some of the Beaver Dam ponds that fill the highland valleys.  I guess it's like catching fish in a bucket to them.

once the nest is set and all theip stuff is more or less done, it isn't that much different than chickens. She squats on the nest and folds her tail to one side, he stands on her back and gets his butt hole to match up with her butt hole and a little bumping and the squawking and calling begins anew...it's very fast. Thydo screw in mid air too, but I think these nest mountaings are the ones that really make the eggs happen. OH, and they do this A LOT...several times a day until the nestling starts looking like the parents. Often yearly females stay with the parents for year 2 and the juvenile males go off in all male gangs to fish, and practice that mounting thing...stepping on each others backs. They'reall juveniles, so they look all like girls for that 2nd year...silly boys!

I have bird feeders all over my back yard for different kind of birds. I love my hummingbirds :)
