oh no!!! D8 I am so sorry this happened to Zoe :'( I hope she feels better and more comfortable around the tank soon.
I know how you feel... sometimes when I come home, and Jasper is acting strange.. I have to go into detective-mode and investigate!
it's probably best if you don't put the aloe cream unless you know it's safe... if it gets worse, perhaps take her for a visit to the vet? I hope her little paws are OK.. it sounds painful, the poor baby :(
Just keep an eye on her paws for now. Don't use cream, though, use aloe vera gel to help soothe the paws if she looks like she's limping or treading lightly. And if you use the gel make sure to bandage her paws afterward so the gel has time to soak into the pads. But I think she'll be fine, her instincts probably kicked in before any serious or permanent damage happened.
awe that sucks. I had Kuiper jump up on the stove right after I finished using it and burn her paw too. It turned her normally black paw pad blotchy pink :( i felt bad, but it healed pretty quickly. I didn't do much to it, I tried to hold a cold water towel to it right after it happend but she wasn't having it. Later i cleaned it a couple times cus she was getting litter stuck to it, but it's fine now and im sure Zoe will be ok but trust me I fell you on feelin bad lol. Kuiper is my one and only child haha. Cats really are like babies.
My kitty, Oreo, burnt his paw on the stove when he was a kitten. The mark is still there (he's 5.) Ummm I'm very very bored so I'm reading people's journals. :/
