Special Surrey Moment (3)

Biking home yesterday, stopped at a red light at Scott Rd. I heard some jeering, looked over, and saw two cars full of goons leaning out the window yelling at me. I could barely hear them above the traffic, but I clearly heard the word 'fag' used extensively. 'Nice bike, fag'!

I must be really hot in spandex, or something.

Hooray! How does it feel?

I'm jealous. Today on my ride home someone almost ran over me in a truck that had eight wheels and exhaust pipes added onto it going up over the cab, like in a mac truck. It had chrome skulls attached on the side, and belched this awful black smoke. The guy sneered at me. I hate Surrey.

It's great not being there anymore! Unfortunately, I'm too far away from the skytrain to walk, and the bus service is lousy, but at least it's not Surrey! It must be a good job if you voluntarily commute there every day.
